What can i say?! It’s creamy, rich, refreshing, and packed with flavor. The texture was impossibly smooth, almost like velvet on the tongue, and the flavors were incredibly vibrant and true to their ingredients. I tried the pistachio and strawberry & cream. The pistachio tasted fresh and nutty, not artificial or overly sweet, and the strawberry & cream was light, and perfectly balanced. Every spoonful was like a little vacation in Italy.

Had the brown butter sage and apricot gelato flavours, in the piccolo size. Both were excellent, and I really love that they give you a glass cup and metal spoon!

Update: I came back to try the granita! Despite it being more watery compared to the gelato, the ice is so smooth and refreshing. I unfortunately wasn’t able to try the almond, but I had the pineapple and strawberry. Lovely gelato, lovelier people! I had the toasted coconut and Madagascar vanilla gelato today and they were both so creamy and amazing! I got told that they were a popular combination today, and what a good pairing it was. I especially loved the crunchy coconut bits. Definitely one of the best gelato places in town. I’ll come back another time to try their granita.

This is my favourite gelato shop in Toronto by two people who are so passionate about their craft and their community. Their gelato is better than some of the gelateria's I visited in Italy. Have their granita (only available in the summer), only spot in the city that makes it and it's so so wonderful. I love having an affogato (scoop of gelato drowned in espresso) in the cooler months, but that is available all the time! Granita is a fine slush that's dairy-free and there's always chocolate, fruit flavours (made with local produce), and if you're lucky Sicilian Almond or Pistachio (my favourites). Top that with panna – a whipped cream made in house, and you're set. Just like the gelato, granita flavours rotate weekly and you can reference their website or Instagram for what's currently being scooped. Ingredients like pistachios and almonds are imported right from Italy, while fruits are hyperlocal and sourced in Ontario.

Amazing staff and customer service. Friendly and homey atmosphere. The Granita is amazing here. I can no longer have dairy, but the pistachio de bronte granita paired with the coffee flavoured granita was perfection. Almost as creamy as any gelato! This place deserves the love!

Small is beautiful. My favourite tastes are pistachios and chocolate chips. Their ice cream is full of vanilla beans and delicious. The portion is tiny and there is a long queue in front of the store. The great taste might overcome the portion and long queue of waiting. The owners and staff are nice and friendly.

We tried the Sweet Cream, Strawberry, and Passion Fruit Gelato and Japanese Green Tea Granita. This is my first time trying granita as I never had it before. The flavour of that granita caught me by surprise! Picture a perfect ratio of 'slush/ice' and a perfect sweetness of the green tea flavour. It's been one week since we first visited and I'm still craving for more granitas. Definitely worth the 2 hour commute from Oshawa. Would highly recommend! Edit: came back for the Madagascar vanilla gelato, coffee, Ontario pear, and blue plum granita paired with a small brioche bun. The vanilla is a really strong vanilla flavor that pairs nicely with the brioche bun. The coffee is strong as well. The pear and plum taste just the fruit itself!! Once again, always worth the trip. This is a destination gelato and granita shop!
